Supporting Young Italian artists
The brainchild of Giovanna Furlanetto, the Fondazione Furla was founded in Bologna in 2008 to promote the long-standing cultural relationship between Furla and contemporary art. Its reputation in supporting young Italian artists while developing, exploring and exchanging new creative channels and innovative projects is praised across the board. The Fondazione’s main initiative is the Furla Art Award, one of the most prestigious and relevant prizes dedicated to young Italian artists. Launched in 2000, it serves as a stepping stone for artists developing their art into different forms.
